My interest in Ceramics is centered around the aesthetic beauty of various thrown forms and the challenge of creating them on the potters wheel. I especially like to study old pots as these can often reveal a great degree of skill and fluidity in the making.

The inspiration for much of my current work comes from the study of shapes, forms and glazes from around the world. The bright glazes bring a vibrancy whilst still letting the simple elegance of the shape come through, from raw clay to fired earth.
